bethoughtful

Answers

Is there a service that writes and mails thank-you notes for me?

Yes. Be Thoughtful writes a personal thank-you note for every guest from your gift list, lets you read and edit each one, then writes them with a real pen and mails them with a stamp. Notes are $6.95 each when you send 25 or more, and you never have to touch a pen or a post office.

How it works

  • Upload, paste or screenshot your gift list or registry (Babylist, Zola, The Knot, Amazon, or any spreadsheet), or type the guests in.
  • We draft a note for each person that names their gift and sounds like you. You read, edit or rewrite any of them.
  • Pick a handwriting style and a cover. Be Thoughtful writes every note with a real ballpoint pen and addresses every envelope.
  • Each one is stamped and mailed by USPS First-Class Mail, mailed within about a week.

Is it really handwritten?

The ink is real and the pen really touches the paper, but the hand is a machine following a handwriting style, not a person. We think that’s worth being clear about. The words are yours: you approve every note before anything is written.

Other options

You can also hire a calligrapher (beautiful, slower and more expensive), ask a friend or family member to help address envelopes, or split the list over a few evenings. Any of them is better than a thank-you that never gets sent.
